Provide Legal Advice on Policy

Description: In all matters, the Legal Adviser should report to the Commander or Deputy Commander. The general mission of all staff Legal Advisers is to perform primary duties in connection with legal matters and function as the principal Legal Adviser and staff assistant to the Commander/Commanding Officer and to the Deputy Commander/Chief of Staff/Chief Staff Officer. Within their commands they will ensure the effective training and utilization of legal assets and will ensure that assigned Legal Advisers are provided the security clearances to fulfil their assigned functions.
