- Title
- Supervise and Review
- Description
Regardless of whether an incident has occurred, supervision and review is required to validate the effectiveness of the overall FP plan, to make necessary adjustments, to ensure that risk controls are implemented and enforced to standard, and that a feedback mechanism is in place. It also validates the adequacy, scope, and effectiveness of selected FP measures, tasks, and activities in supporting the objectives and desired outcomes. While this is presented as the final step in the FP model, supervision and review should occur throughout the process to provide the ability to identify weaknesses and to make changes or adjustments to controls based on performance, changing situations, conditions, or events. Commanders must review actions and processes to ensure that lessons learned and best practices are recorded.
