The processes for Investment Management describe the activities for financial analysis, strategy, financial planning, budgeting, and an authorization process in place to make effective investment decisions. Investments or capital expenditures are non-recurring purchases of assets which are expected to provide benefits over a long period of time. Examples of capital expenditures include buildings, vehicles, software, machinery, furniture, and computer equipment.
