- The Land Applications enable users to collect, process, present and distribute information that supports the major functions of land operations. Land Operations are the set of military activities that are conducted by land forces to attain and maintain a desired degree of control within the Area of Responsibility (AOR) on land, and, as required, support operations in the other operational domains. Examples of Land Applications include manoeuvre, fire support, air defence, command and control, intelligence, mobility and survivability, and combat service support.
