Applicability

The Predictive Model Markup Language (PMML) is an XML-based predictive model interchange format. PMML provides a way for analytic applications to describe and exchange predictive models. PMML provides applications a vendor-independent method of defining models so that proprietary issues and incompatibilities are no longer a barrier to the exchange of models between applications. It is widely supported Standard and based on DMG XML Schema. It allows users to develop models within one application, and use different vendors’ applications for the using the model.
