Applicability
- The Raster Product Format (RPF) is a standard data structure developed in 1994 as a U.S. Military Standard for geospatial databases composed ofb rectangular arrays of pixel values (e.g. in digitized maps or images) in compressed or uncompressed form. Its intended use was to govern the design of a family of digital data interchange products that comprise digital maps, images, and other geographic data for military applications.
