Prepare Medical Support

Description: Along with processes necessary to prepare for deployment of a medical capability into an operation, including elements of training, equipment preparation and logistics/supply management, preparation of medical support also requires the conduct of preventative health care for the wider force. Preventive health care encompasses services aiming to identify, prevent, and control acute and chronic communicable and non-communicable diseases, illnesses, and injuries. This includes medical screenings, vaccinations, advice and training on protective countermeasures and hygiene.
