Applicability

The Gateway Description Language (GDL) and Gateway Filtering Language (GFL) compose a family of specifications, one each for two different eXtensible Markup Language (XML)-based formal languages. Used by both developers and users of Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) environments during gateway selection and configuration. Each of the GDL and GFL specifications reflects a different aspect of the overarching process of gateway selection and configuration.
